Compressed air filters provide your systems and processes reliable, highly efficient protection against dust, aerosols and oil vapours – for all purity classes as per ISO 8573-1, perfectly compatible with our range of compressors and other compressed air treatment options. Our compressed air filters are available with a pressure of 16 bar, whilst high-pressure filters range up to 45 bar; filters are also available in a silicon-free version, such as for use in painting processes.

KAESER Compressed Air Filtration

KAESER FILTER products are key components in delivering compressed air of all purity classes in accordance with ISO 8573-1 and they perform their duties with minimal pressure differential. Their service-friendly design not only ensures simple, error-free opening and closing of the filter housing, but also allows quick and clean element changes.

Pressure loss is the most significant factor affecting the efficiency of compressed air filters. KAESER FILTER products feature generously dimensioned housings and filter surfaces, innovative flow dynamics and high-performance filter media.

These features result in up to 50 % lower pressure loss in comparison to other typically available filters. This outstanding filtration performance remains virtually constant throughout their entire service life. This reduces the load on upstream compressors, thereby creating the potential for significant reductions in costs and CO2 emissions.

KAESER FILTER products are available in four filter grades. 12 housing sizes provide efficient filtration for flow rates from 0.60 to 32.00 m³/min.

Condensate Management Technology for Compressed Air Treatment

Compressed air condensate is contaminated with trace amounts of oil from the compression process along with other contaminants found in the ambient air, such as dust and dirt particles or aerosols in highly concentrated form.

Contaminated condensate will also accumulate in any additional compressed air treatment procedure (filtration and drying products). Innovative condensate management technology enables this polluted and environmentally harmful waste product to be discharged and treated safely and economically, as it must not be initiated into the sewer system.

Condensate Drains: BEKOMAT®

Following the compression stage, condensation occurs and condensate is generated at virtually every point along the compressed air treatment process (filtration and drying). In most cases, it contains oil and dirt particles that should not enter the compressed air system.

Oil-Water-Separator: QWIK-PURE®

When generating compressed air, significant amounts of oil-containing condensate are produced. Helping to manage contaminated compressed air condensate at source, Oil-Water-Separators process the condensate discharged from a system via condensate drains in a cost-effective, environmentally friendly and legally compliant manner.

Providing a safe, clean and modular solution, the active operation of QWIK-PURE redefines oil-water separation technology to achieve new standards in condensate processing and optimum separation results.

Conventional oil-water separators work according to the gravity principle and the condensate seeps through the filter medium. With the QWIK-PURE the condensate is actively forced through the pre-filter and main filter with light blasts of compressed air. During this process, the cartridge is permanently filled with liquid. This means that nothing can dry out and form impermeable boundary layers. In addition, thanks to a hermetically sealed design, neither users nor service personnel come into contact with the substances absorbed inside.

Through its modular design, the QWIK-PURE simply grows with the user - with just a few simple steps, it can be adapted to meet both higher and reduced requirements.

Emulsion Splitting Unit: BEKOSPLIT®

The BEKOSPLIT separates even stable emulsions and enables a reliable and economical treatment for resulting condensates. In this way, our emulsion processing systems create load-free disposal of oil-contaminated industrial wastewater.

Splitting instead of separating, the BEKOSPLIT emulsion splitting technology enables reliable, economical and company-internal processing of emulsified condensate, which has resulted from unfavourable initial operating conditions or due to certain lubricant-compressor combinations.

Insoluble in water organic contaminations and soiling like oil and solid contamination will be removed by the addition of a special splitting agent. The discharged water can subsequently be safely routed into the wastewater sewer system.
